I love watches, clocks and pretty much anything that ticks. This design by Tristan Zimmermann reinterprets the existing elements of a clock face (hands and angles) into a kinetic sculpture. It’s simple, looks slick and has elegant geometry that evolves throughout the day, changing with each passing second to celebrate the fluid nature of time which has inspired it. Behind the clock face, the custom mechanical movements required to drive the piece were engineered from the ground up. The images don’t do it justice, you have to watch the video. I want one of these.
